Cigar reviews and ratings are really important in this age of ridiculous tobacco taxing. If you were to buy every single cigar that just might be decent in order to find the few that really are quality, you’d go broke!

Have you ever wondered if the cigar magazines are giving reviews based on who’s advertising in the magazine? I sure have. I recently bought an entire box of cigars based on a 93 rating by a magazine that has the initials C.A. Yes, the flavor was nice, and the tobacco was quality. But the construction, draw and burn were awful! There’s no way a self-respecting magazine should have given this cigar a 93. But the company had several full-page advertisements in the magazine… hmm…

I travel the world and meet cigar smokers from all over the place. But I’ve really only found a very few cigar smokers that can really taste the nuances of a fine cigar. It’s an art, much like wine tasting. They are the reviewers you will find here at CigarReviews.org.
